Colour scheme ideas and textures

I was looking through a book about Tim Burtons film 'Alice in Wonderland' and came across a few images that i really liked and thought could be useful for the rest of the group. I like the texture of the wood on the walls, and the dark eerieness of the room that alice is in works really well.
